How Loofah Sponges are Made
Luffa gourds are grown in tropical and subtropical climates.After the plant blooms,the flower develops into a long,gourdlike plant that resembles a giant cucumber or zucchini.The gourds are then harvested and can be left to dry out for up to six months.
Dried gourds are soaked in water,peeled,and their seeds are removed.Once they’re completely dry,they can be sliced,cut,or shaped in a variety of ways before they’re sold as sponges.

PREPARE FOR USE
Step 1:
Pick out the flattened loofah from package.
These loofahs are compressed flat for easy storage.
Step 2:
Soak it into the warm water for a few minute.If the loofah still hard,after a couple of uses,the loofah can be more softer.
The all natural fibers are tightly woven.This sponge will last for quite some time before finally falling apart are wearing out. The key to breaking in or softening up a loofah sponge is to first wet or soak it.This greatly reduces the friction of the raw all natural plant fibers.
Step 3:
When the loofah become a large round loofah sponge,you can use it to bath.
If you haven’t been sanitizing your loofah it’s no longer safe for use after three weeks.Either way,time to get a new loofah. Dry your loofah properly after each use and replace them frequently to keep your body healthy. After using your loofah,remove it from the moist shower environment and leave it somewhere with enough airflow to completely dry it out between uses.
