CRUCIAL SETUP NOTE: This device requires a 2.4GHz WiFi network (802.11 b/g/n). 5GHz networks are NOT supported.
How to split your dual-band router:
Log into your router admin page .
Disable “Smart Connect” / “Dual-Band Merge”.
Set a unique SSID for 2.4GHz (e.g., “YourWiFi-2.4G”) and 5GHz (e.g., “YourWiFi-5G”).
Connect your phone to the 2.4GHz SSID before pairing the device.
IMPORTANT: 2.4GHz WiFi REQUIRED
This product does NOT work with 5GHz networks. Follow router setup steps above to avoid connection issues.

Q: Can this product be wired to a 240V double hot wire (L1+L2) circuit in the US?
A: No. Although this product supports a wide voltage input range of 90~240V, it is specifically designed for a single-phase “one-hot-one-neutral” configuration and cannot be connected to a 240V double hot wire (L1+L2) system.
Here are the key reasons:
Wiring Logic Mismatch: The device requires one live (hot) wire and one neutral wire to establish the correct reference potential for operation. A standard US 240V double hot wire setup provides two different phase lines without a neutral wire. Connecting this device directly to L1 and L2 will prevent it from functioning properly and may cause damage.Physical Interface Limitation: The power interface and internal wiring of this product are strictly designed according to the single-phase standard. It does not support direct connection to four-prong sockets or hardwired configurations intended for 240V double hot line appliances.
Safety Notice: When using this product in the US, please always plug it into a standard 120V household outlet (which provides the required hot + neutral configuration). Do not attempt to modify the plug or force-connect it to a 240V double hot wire circuit, as this poses severe safety risks and may result in equipment failure.
User Tip: Why Not Run at Full 30A All the Time?
Think of this switch like a car engine. While the speedometer might go up to 150 mph , you wouldn’t drive at top speed all day long—it puts too much stress on the engine.
For Short Bursts: 30A is perfectly fine.
For Daily Driving: We recommend keeping continuous usage below 25A.
This “derating” practice keeps the unit cool and ensures your smart switch lasts for years without issues. Safety first!
